Gluten-Free Waffles with Mulberries (Start Your Day Perfectly!)

Ideal breakfast idea for all the family! These gluten-free waffles with mulberries are so cute and delicious! Simple and quick to prepare, these waffles will leave a nice berry smell all over your kitchen and their rich and yummy taste will make your day!
Waffles with Mulberries
Ingredients:

For the waffles:

  • 200 grams’ soy flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • A pinch of salt
  • 400 ml milk
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 100 ml vegetable oil
  • 50 ml water
  • 2 ½ teaspoons egg replacer
  • 1 cup organic white mulberries
  • 1 knob butter, to grease

For the toppings (optional):

  • 1 cup fresh whipped topping
  • 1 cup organic white mulberries
  • ¾ cup fresh berries
  • ½ cup nuts
  • 1 cup melted chocolate

 

 

Instructions:

  • In a mixing bowl, apply all the ingredients for the waffles except for the organic white mulberries. Using an electric mixer, beat until you get sticky, thick, and smooth.
  • Next, apply the organic white mulberries to the batter and combine with a wooden spoon.
  • Grease generously the waffle maker with the butter in order to prevent sticking.
  • Apply some of the mixture and cook in the maker (checking frequently) until golden brown. The process will take about 10 minutes.
  • Remove and allow the waffles to cool for 2 minutes before serving (or else they can break).
  • Top the waffles with fresh berries, nuts and/or whipped topping. To finish drizzle some melted chocolate over the waffles (if desired). Serve.
